"It's The Little Things That Make Life Big"

Good Afternoon Everyone... Today I have some very special cards to share with you! These are from a Learning Swap that we had on The Copic Musketeers Yahoo Group a while back. This first card was sent to a wonderful group member who was nice enough to share her stamp with us, thank you Rhonda for being so generous. The way the swap worked is we each got three images on three different types of paper to see if we like how the paper reacted with our shading and blending techniques. We needed to make one into a card and send it to Rhonda, which I sent this first one to her; and also needed to post one to the group in a specific album for all to see what we created! It was alot of fun and we are planning to continue this sort of swap with other group members who are willing to share there paper, ink, and time! "Happy Birthday America"

These cards were created for two different challenges, one on The Copic Musketeers Yahoo Group that I am a co-owner of, to celebrate America's Birthday and for the monthly group at The Stamp Shoppe! The wonderful image and sentiment stamps are by B & B Cardstock & Rubber Stamps. The owner, Barb is a wonderful person to work with and a very talented designer, with quality pink rubber stamps! I used my Micron Black Pen to add the word "of" to her sentiment. The designer paper that I used is by Reminisce. The card stock is by Stampin' Up. The star ribbon is out of my stash! LOL! The Nestibilities by Spellbinders that were used are the Classic Rectangle Small & Large. I also used the Making Memories Paper Distresser Tool, to make the tattered edges on all the rectangle cut outs. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are R27, B18, B28, C1, C5, C7, C8, N1, N3, E11, E13, & E15. The only Atyou Spica Glitter Pen that I used is 00 (clear). "Spoiled Kitty"

This is one of my favorite images and sentiments from Whipper Snapper Designs. I had so much fun making these cards for my monthly group club meeting at The Stamp Shoppe. For the designer paper, it was out of my scrap tub! The card stock, the image stamp on the envelope, and the ink for the Sponging Technique were all  from Stampin' Up. Of course, I used the Deckled Rectangles Small Nestibilities by Spellbinders for the awesome shapes. For the large circle, I pulled out my old set of shapes and cutters from Creative Memories. I have not used them in a long time! LOL! The ribbon and embellishments were out of my stash. On the kitties nose and the flower pot I used my trusty ole white gel pen. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...

Kitty ~ E95, E97, E99, & W7
Flower ~ G21, G24, B41, B45, R20, & R22
Pot ~ R59 & Colorless Blender
Dirt ~ E55 & E57

The Colorless Blender was to pull some color out and add texture to the pot. The Atyou Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00 (clear), 19 (sand), and 20 (chocolate). As always, thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or comments; please feel free to leave me a message and a way to contact you (email or blog address)! Happy Creating! Sara

The card stock that I used was from Stampin' Up. The eyelets were out of my stash. The Martha Stewart Punch that I used is called Iron Gate or Iron Fence. LOL! I used Frosted Lace Stickles to add a bit of bling without over powering a masculine card. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...R46, R85, R89, N1, N6, C7, YG67, & B000. I also used the colorless blender to pull some color back out and make the truck look faded! The Atyou Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00, 12, & 18. As always, thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or comments; please feel free to leave me a message and a way to get in contact with you (email or blog address)! Happy Creating! Sara

"The Flowers of Life"

I made this card from materials that were given to me by Heidi, the owner of The Stamp Shoppe in Schofield, WI. She is the founder of the monthly group that I am a part of. She gives each of us two challenges each month, one is from a sketch and we use all of our own materials and the second one is from materials that she provides. This would be the the second challenge. I am not sure who the flower image stamp or inside sentiment are by, she provided them, the designer paper and some of the card stock. The rest of the card stock is by Stampin' Up.  The image stamp on the envelope is by Stampin' Up. The Nestibilities from Spellbinders that I used on this card are Deckled Mega Rectangle Small and Large. The card stock that Heidi provided is the olive green color which she used one of the NEW Tim Holtz Die Cuts on. Heidi also included the ribbon. The sponging was done with Stampin' Up Ink. I did NOT use any copic's on this card! Can you believe it? LOL! I can't! Instead I used the following Atyou Spica Glitter Pens... 03 (Red), 04 (Orange), 05 (Lemon), 06 (Melon), 16 (Buttermilk), & 17 (Mint). As always, thanks for taking the time to stop by, if you have any questions or comments; feel free to leave me a message with a way to get in contact with you (email or blog address)! Happy Creating! " Sewing From The Heart"

Good Morning to All... I am back with a very special card that I created for a wonderful friend and fellow crafter, Carol Szwajkowski is a talented quilter! If you are interested in taking a peek at what Carol creates you can find her on Facebook or at her Etsy Shop "Quilt From The Heart". I just become friends with her since our move to Wisconsin Rapids. She had given Michael a Thank You Card  for doing some work for her, so I went ahead and created a card just for her, at the time I had very limited images that involved sewing; let alone quilting. But, I found this freebie from Sew Many Cards that I used on the front. The image that is on the envelope is from Stampin' Up. The designer paper is out of my stash. The card stock is from my stash and some from Stampin' Up.The buttons and embroidery floss are out of my goodie stash. LOL! You wouldn't believe me if I told you that I had a huge stash of goodie, now would you? LOL! I used the Classic Scalloped Heart Nestibilities by Spellbinders for the wonderful shape. The punch that I used for the side accents is by Martha Stewart. I also used Star Dust Stickles by Ranger and Recollections Half Pearls to add some bling! The faux stitching was done with my Scor-Pal and Double Score Bug. For added hand drawn detail I used my Micron Black & Purple Pens. Now for the list of Copic Sketch Markers that I used are RV13, RV14, V12, V15, YG11, YG13, N1, & N3. For a bit more of sparkle I added some Atyou Spica Glitter Pen in 00, 01, 02, & 06 to the actual image. As always, thanks for taking the time to read my post; if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave me a message, including your email or blog address... so that I can back to you! Happy Creating! Sara

"Hugs, Kisses, & Get Well Wishes"

This card was inspired by one of my fellow stamp club friends at The Stamp Shoppe, Barbara. She had surgery and I did NOT have a get well card made ahead... so this is what I came up with for her. The image stamp on the front, the envelope, and the inside sentiment are all by Stampin' Up. The designer paper was out of my scrap tub. The card stock is by Stampin' Up also. The ribbon is out of my stash. LOL! I used my Nestibilities by Spellbinders, Standard Circles Small and Petite Scalloped Circles Small for the wonderful shapes. They are so easy to use, I love them! The Sponging Technique is done with Stampin' Up Ink. The little Dew Drops were purchased from Cutters Creek. The rhinestone flower embellishment on the inside is by Darice Finishing Accents, that I purchased at Michael's. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...

Bottle ~ YR21 & YR24
Flowers ~ BV11, BV13, Y15, Y17, YG23, & YG25
Hearts ~ RV11 & RV13

Once again, for some added bling, I used the Atyou Spica Glitter Pen, clear 00.
As always, thanks for taking the time to stop by and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them and a way for me to contact you (email or blog address)! Happy Creating! Sara

"Haagen-Daz Birthday Bear"

As you can see I had so much fun making these cards! The template for them, I got from my friend Bob Lieby. This birthday card was inspired by one of my fellow stamp club friends at The Stamp Shoppe, Tammy. She is new to our group and is alot of fun, not to mention she loves her sweets! Anyways, the image stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs, the sentiment on the card is a two part stamp set by Hambo Stamps, and the images on the envelopes are by Stampin' Up. The designer paper on the first two cards is by Imaginisce. On the last card I did not use any designer paper. I just stamped a background stamp by Stampin' Up which I also used on the envelope. The card stock is by Stampin' Up. The ribbon on the first two cards is by Holiday Inspirations that I purchased at Jo-Ann Fabrics. The ribbon on the last card is by Heidi Grace. I used the Nestibilities by Spellbinders, Petite Oval Large on all of the cards. The flowers are by Iced Got Flowers, purchased from Michael's.

The embellishment half pearls and rhinestones are from Recollections and Darice Finishing Accents that I picked up at Michael's also. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...

Bear ~ Y32, Y35, Y38, YR14, E97, W3, & W5
Ice Cream & Cone ~ R00, R29, RV02, RV06, G000, G12, G24, E11, E13, E15, E17, E18, & E53
