"Thought About Today"

For our monthly sketch challenge with my local stamp club at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/); we were to use the sketch challenge from (http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/); Home of Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge's (MMSC41).  The image stamps that I used were from a retired Stampin' Up set, the inside sentiment is by Great Impressions. The cardstock is also Stampin' Up. The designer paper is by KI Memories Inc. I used my trustly ole Nestabilities by Spellbinders once again...The Classic Rectangle Large Set. I also used my Scor Pal and Cutter Bee Bug to do the faux stitching on the green and pink. The hand drawn outline around the image; I used my Micron Black and Purple Pens. The copic's that I used are Y13, Y17, B00, B02, B04, RV02, RV06, RV09, V12, V15, V17, YG21, YG23, YG25, YG06, YG09, Y02, Y17, BG02, E50, C0, & N1. The Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, & 18. Instead of using premade flower embellishments; I choose to make my own. Since I am taking the online "Everything Copic's" class at My Creative Classroom (http://www.mycreativeclassroom.com/); I thought...hmmm..."What a good way to get some practice in with my copic's and the new technique's that I am trying to master!"  Thanks for stopping by and as always if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me!

"Congrats On Your New Baby" & " New Little Miracle"

These cards that I created are also for my local stamp club at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/). These cards are made from some supplies that Heidi (the owner) gave us. We take the supplies home and create a card or cards depending on the amount of supplies we use on each one. The supplies that she gave us for this challenge is the images which are from her new line "Stamp Shoppe Creations" (http://stampshoppecreations-thestore.blogspot.com/); also the pink and brown cardstock, the inside sentiments on the first card..."Congrats On Your New Baby", and the diaper pin embellishment! The rest I put together; the designer paper is from Hot Off The Press and the purple cardstock is by Stampin' Up. The punch, the ink for sponging, and the sentiment in the second card are all by Stampin' Up also. The rest of the goodies are from my stash. The Nestabilities by Spellbinders that I used are Petite Oval Small and Petite Scalloped Oval Small. The Copic Marker's that I used are ... Y00, Y02, Y04, Y17, Y19, Y38, BV00, RV10, & E13. The techinque I used is called Feathering. I learned this new technique in an online Copic Class that I am taking through "My Creative Classroom" (http://www.mycreativeclassroom.com/). It is a wonderful hands on class! Colleen, the instructor, is a wealth of information. I am throughly enjoying this class! Last, but not least; the only Spica Glitter Pen that I used on these cards is clear 00. Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me!

~ All You Need is Love ~

Happy Valentine's Day to All! Today I have just one post to share with you...It serves double duty though. First it is a challenge card for House Mouse And Friends Blog Challenge #1 (http://housemouseandfriends.blogspot.com/2010/01/house-mouse-and-friends-blog-hop-and.html) and An Anniversary Card for one of new friends over at The Copic Crafter's Online Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/). She has no idea I am sending it, so lets see if she figures out who the lucky couple is? Naturally this card was designed using an image by House Mouse and the sentiment's are by Stampin' Up. Once again I stamped the image in Memento Black Ink and all the sponging on the edges are ink by Stampin' Up. The cardstock and ribbon are by Stampin' Up. The designer paper is by Sandylion Sticker Designs and the flower pieces are out of my stash. I have no idea who designed it. The Nestabilities by Spellbinders, that I used are Classic Rectangle Large and Petite Oval Large. I used my Creative Memories Corner Rounder; which is my most favorite corner rounder of all. For the extra embellishments I used Recollections Half Pearl Stickers. Now for the Copic Markers...I am really starting to experiment with new color combinations, so please let me know what you think. The Copic Markers are E00,E31, E33, E35, RV32, YG05, YG07, YG09, B60, B63, & Y08. The Spica Glitter Pens I used are 00, 13, 14, 17, & 19. As always, thanks for stopping by and feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions!

"Here's The Latest Dirt" RAK

One last post for today; and I am caught up! But I am in the middle of a few other ones, so more to come in the future!! This card is enough to melt your heart, don't you think? This is another card I designed for my online Copic Crafter Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/).  The image is by Whipper Snapper Designs. The sentiments are by Whipper Snapper and A Muse. The image is stamped in Memento Black Ink, the edging on the designer paper is done with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink, and the sponging is done with Stampin' Up Ink. The cardstock is by Stampin' Up and the designer paper is by NRN Designs. The Nestabilities by Spellbinders that I used are the Small & Large Deckled Rectangles. I think with the torn paper and jagged edges, kind of made this look like a grungy card...perfect for the sentiment! The Copic Markers that I used are E11, E13, E15, E42, E57, B23, R29, & W7. The Spica Glitter Pens are 10, 18, 19, 20, & 21. I used Crystal Effects with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter in it for the bone! They are both by Stampin' Up. The ribbon and embellishments are from my stash! I just love all those little things that I find...and later find all these cool uses for them! I am always on the lookout for little things like these; since you just never know when you will need them! Remember ...Creative...ADDICTIONS...by Sara! LOL! Anyways, thanks for stopping by and feel free to contact me with questions or suggestions!

~ Curtains of Spring ~ RAK

I loved this stamp the moment I say it...and it was on clearance! LOL! I created this card for my online Copic Crafters Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/). The image is by Northwoods Rubber Stamps. The sentiment stamp and cardstock is by Stampin' Up. The designer paper is out of my stash. LOL! My stash is huge...can't you tell? LOL! The image is stamped in Memento Black Ink and the sponging is done with Stampin' Up Ink. The punch that I used for the bottom flap is also by Stampin' Up. One would almost think I am a demonstrator; but I am not. I have just been a very loyal customer through the years. LOL! The Nestabilities by Spellbinders, that I used for this card are the Large Deckled Rectangles. I love the look of the jagged edges that these make! The Copic Markers that I used are YG06, YG07, B93, B95, RV06, RV17, C0, & C3. The Spica Glitter Pens are 02, 12, & 18. I also used my exacto knife to cut out the window glass and put a piece of designer paper behind to make it look like blue skies. I used Crystal Effects with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter in it on the flower's to make them shiny like it has just rained! The Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter are also by Stampin' Up. As for other embellishements; the Rhinestone Half Pearls in Silver are on the punched out area, the curtain rod, and the tie backs. Oh can't forget my ole trustly Micron Black Pen and White Gel Pen! Thanks for stopping by and as always if you have any question or suggestions feel free to contact me!

"Wishing You Well" Sunshine RAK

This is another Sunshine RAK card that I designed for my online Copic Crafters Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/). This image and sentiment are both by Hambo Stamps. The ink that I stamped the image with is once again my Memento Black. The cardstock and ribbon are by Stampin' Up and the designer paper is out of my stash. The Scor Pal was used here for the faux stitching around the designer paper. The small dot Cuttlebug Embossing folder was used on the cardstock and then the Stampin' Up White Craft Ink Pad was slid across the top over the dots to make them stand out. The Copic Markers that I used here are E15, E31, E35, E53, E57,C1,R20, & YG13. The Spica Glitter Pens used are 00, 09, 12, 17, & 19. The embellishments that I used are called Skittles by Kim at Cutter Creek (https://www.cutterscreek.com/store/). I love how they add just a little bit of charm to this card! Thanks for stopping by and as always feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions!

"Lean On Me" Sunshine RAK & "Happy Hello"

Wow what a whirlwind week...lots of creating last week; which you will see as I catch up on my posts! LOL! This card originally was to be a Sunshine RAK for my online Copic Crafters Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/) ...and then also became a Happy Hello Card to put into my on hand stash! I just love this image by Whipper Snapper Designs. The sentiment stamp for the "Best Wishes"...I have no idea whom it is by, since it doesn't have the company name on it. The other sentiment stamp "Happy Hellos" is from Stampin' Up. I as always stamped my image with Memento Black Ink. The cardstock is by Stampin' Up. The designer paper is out of my stash. The punch that I used on the bottom of the front flap is by Martha Stewart. I used another new toy, The Scor Pal to do the faux stitching around the outside edge of the designer paper. The Nestabilities by Spellbinders that I used here are the Petite Oval Large and Petite Scalloped Oval Large, in order to do the layering. I love my Nesties for this! It's easy and looks so elegant. The Copic Markers that I used here are C1, C3, C5, E11, E13, E15, RV00, RV02, YR20, G12, & R24. Of course for some bling, I need my Spica Glitter Pens. The Spica's are 00, 10, 12, 14, 17, & 20. For the hand drawn detailing around the stamped image I used my Micron Black Pen. The only embellishment that I used on this card is Rhinstone Half Pearls. Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me!

~ I'll Take Romance ~

Isn't he just the cutest thing? I fell head over heals for him! This stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs and so is the sentiment. I found these over at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/). The cardstock that I used is by Stampin' Up and Wausau Papers (Metallic Color Series). The designer paper is by Reminisce. I used the Label 4 Nestabilities by Spellbinders, Little Heart Cuttlebug Folder, and punch by Martha Stewart. The ribbon and embellishments are out of my stash. ( Yes I have a large stash!) LOL! The Copic Markers that I used for this cute little guy are E31, E33, E35, N3, N6, R29, YG05, YG07, & RV10. The Spica Glitter Pens are 00, 17, & 21. For the hand drawn details on the sentiment area, I used the Micron Black and Red Pens. I think this card could be used either for Valentine's Day or for An Anniversary! What do you think? This is my last post for today, as I need to get back to creating...have more challenges and swaps to work on. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to contact me with any questions.

"I Wish, I Wish" Valentine's Day Card

I found this stamp over at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/); here is Schofield Wisconsin and just had to ink it up right away! I used up a bunch of my scrap cardstock and designer paper. I know that the cardstock is by Stampin' Up; but as far as the designer paper...I have no idea since it was in my scrap box! The image stamp is by Great Impressions and the inside sentiment is by Stampin' Up. I used the Label 5 Nestabilities from Spellbinders for that awesome, framed look. The ribbon and embellishments are out of my stash. The punches used on both of these cards are by Stampin' Up. The Copic Markers that I used are E53, E57, RV21, R29, & YG09. The Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00, 14, 17, 19, & 21. Also for the hand drawn detail work is my Micron Black Pen and good ole' trusty White Gel Pen. As you can see...I have my favorites when it comes to markers and pens! Thanks for stopping by and as always if you have a question feel free to contact me.

~ My Valentine ~ Card

I had so much fun making this card for the online Copic Crafters Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/)! We did a group swap of Valentine's Day Cards. The catch to the swap, was it had to be a shape card...something other than square or rectangular. So I used the largest size Classic Scallop Heart Nestabilities by Spellbinders that was in the set for my shape. The next size smaller is what was used for the designer paper by The Paper Studio. The cardstock is by Wausau Papers (Metallic Color Series); which is our local Paper Company here in Wisconsin. The stamps that I used on this card are by Stampin' Up and A Muse. As for the embellishments; wiggle eyes and rhinestone stickers are from my stash. The ink that I used to stamp the image with is Momento Black and I chose Stampin' Up ink for the sponging on the inside sentiment heart. The Copic Markers that I used were E11, E13, E15, RV02, & R29. The Spica Glitter Pens are 02, 03, 19, & 20. I love these pens because they add just a bit of sparkle...not a thick layer like glitter itself! For the black outside detail that I hand drew on the hearts is with the Micron Black Pen. Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
