"Sweet Innocence"

Good Afternoon Everyone! Today is the start of the long Memorial Day weekend, YAY! I am sure most of you have plans, either to travel or stay at home and get things caught up or even maybe have a BBQ! No matter what your plans are please be SAFE! I also want to remind everyone to take a few minutes of silence, to pray and thank all of those soldiers out there that either are not with their families for this holiday or who have served in the past, so we all can be free to do what we like! I know that I personally am very thankful for all that our soldiers have done and will continue to do!!!
This creation is for a friend of mine, Carol... she makes handmade quilts! Her husband's boss and wife just had a little baby girl... Hannah! The colors of the quilt are brown and dark pink, so this is the card that I made for her to give to them! (Did I confuse you? LOL!) This cutie is by the Digi Doodle Shop called "Sleeping Infant"!

"Bride In Practice"

Hello Everyone! I am late getting this post up, as Blogger seems to being having issues! So I hope this goes well! LOL! Are you ready for the big weekend? I am, we are planning to do some yard work, getting our flowers and vegetables planted, and I want to get some creating done! Sounds like alot; but with two of us, it shouldn't take to long (I hope)! I am thinking that we may even watch a movie! (I hope we don't fall asleep on the couch! LOL!) Okay, enough about our plans! Let's get to the creation, the thing that you stopped in to see! (Hee-Hee)

This beautiful image is by The Stamping Boutique called "Audrey the Flower Girl"! You are probably wondering why the theme is so goofy... well when you think of Wedding, you normally think of the bride and groom! We wanted to make it all about the whole wedding! Not just spotlighting the Bride & Groom! Different, huh? Good, that is what we were going for! LOL! I hope you decide to join us! You can become a member of Simply Scrapping Crafts here and The Stamping Boutique Group here! Both challenges will end Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at midnight!

Good Afternoon Everyone! It's Thursday! Yay! I am so excited because Michael and I are going to the theater this weekend! An actual PLAY, this is new to me! The first play I ever went to was last fall at our local community theater! This is going to be such a treat for me! (I know little things make me ecstatic! Well, growing up on a dairy farm, in rural Wisconsin... there wasn't much time for any social activities! LOL!) Okay, enough about that!

And that isn't the best part... the best part is, we are now having 2 challenges a month over there! The first challenge that was announced on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 is "Anything Fantasy"! You can use any image that you would like! The second challenge that was announced Wednesday, May 18, 2011 is a "Wedding-ish Theme", which will also run until the end of the month and you can use any image. My creation today is an inspiration for the first challenge! So for more details on these awesome challenges, become a member to Simply Scrapping Crafts Ning Site and a member of The Stamping Boutique Group! We would LOVE to have you join us! (Pssst... And I will be entering this creation into the Simply Scrapping Crafts Color Challenge (Week 3)! Yep, they have challenges also, so be sure to check them out! And don't be shocked by the other groups that you will find there also! (Pssst... Aletha has Ippity there and Heather has Freshly Brewed Designs there too! Hee-Hee) I did follow a sketch to create this card... it is by Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Arlana has another wonderful sketch this week! "First Craft Show Results / NEW Fur Baby"

Good Morning Everyone! I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! I am gonna take a few minutes to tell you about mine! (Hee-Hee) I went to my first craft show on Saturday. I sold one card, but it is was really wonderful to see how everything works and wow... the nice people that you meet (the other vendors)! I did have fun, after the initial panic wore off! LOL! Michael ran around and took a bunch of pictures... sometimes I think he should be Photographer; instead of IT! I will share two here with you ladies... I must tell you that in these pictures is my natural hair color, I FINALLY found someone who could match it without making my look like I have blue hair!

As you can see, I was cold so I kept my jacket on... when we left home it was warm and overcast; but when we got to Gleason, my hometown it was rainy and chilly. Wish would have brought a sweater or sweat shirt along! Nope, not me I had short sleeves and a thin jacket! LOL! (Not to mention we had a 2 hour drive one way and it was towards the northern part of the state!)(Psst... I am working on one of Tracey's images!)

But the best part of the whole thing... (wait for it)
I got a new Fur Baby! A Hopping Baby Boy, and his name is Mr. Hoppy. He was born on February 27, 2011. He is a Dwarf Bunny, I won't explain what he looks like; because we had our first Official Photo Shoot this morning! (Hee-Hee) Let me just say from the get go... my production time will be down for awhile and I WILL be sidetracked a quite a bit! As we are litter training him right now, and he is doing really good! Okay... I know your thinking, bring on the pictures already! LOL! So here they are...

Thanks everyone for listening to me ramble! I just had to share some of my happy news with y'all! I hope y'all have a wonderful day! I have lots to do, and still working on bunny proofing some rooms in the house... so far the living room and bathroom are done. I see after his little Photo Shoot this morning, I have a bunch of cords to get tied up in my craft room! (Hee-Hee)
Happy Creating!
