"Family Dinner Manners"

Good Afternoon Everyone! This is a wonderful creation that is going to be serving a duel purpose today! I created this card around The Copic Musketeers Blog Challenge #5, "Creating Memories with Family and Friends". The only rules to this challenge are to use either a family or friends theme image or sentiment! As you can see I chose family, it just happens to be a bunny family. Is there anything more precious than this? LOL! You have to remember, I am a critter lover! LOL! The second part of the duel purpose is, I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #164 to create the layout. I am also submitting this into there challenge for last week! The cut off time for the challenge is today! I am running a bit behind schedule, I did have the card finished Friday night! I absolutely love sketches to follow, it makes me think outside my normal style. Not to mention, that I will then use products that I just had to have and either used once or not at all! LOL! Come on, you all know what I am talking about! Anyways, enough of that... onto the material list!

"Butterfly Express"

I fell in love with this designer paper, can you believe that? Me paper? LOL, if you know me... I am a paper-aholic! The image stamp is by House Mouse, the sentiment stamp is by Stampin' Up, and the image that is on the envelope is by Hero Arts. The designer paper is by The Paper Studio. The card stock is by Stampin' Up and Wausau Papers. The Nestibilities by Spellbinders that I used on these cards is Classic Rectangle Large. I used my Micron Black Pen to hand draw the outline on all of the cuts out that the Nestibilities made.

The Spring Punch and the Lacy Flower Punch are by Martha Stewart! I really am enjoying these punches! I am working on collecting more and more of them! The Sponging Technique, was done with Stampin' Up Ink and the ribbon is also by Stampin' Up. The other embellishments that I used are... the butterfly jewels by Darice ~ Finishing Accents, the half pearls by Recollections were both purchased at Michael's, and the dew drops, I purchased online from Cutters Creek. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used to color this image are...

The card stock that I added is from Stampin' Up, also. The Nestibilities by Spellbinders that I used are Classic Rectangles Small & Large and Scalloped Rectangle Large for the perfect shapes. The punch that I used to make the scalloped edge on the bottom is by Stampin' Up. The embellishments that I used are Half Pearls by Recollections that I purchased at Michael's. " It's My Party"

As you can see on these birthday cards, I am very frugal! I try my best not to have much scraps left when I am done creating. I try to make as many cards that are similar to have some for my stash! Anyways, this card was inspired by my fellow stamp club member at The Stamp Shoppe, Judy. She is so sweet, always happy, and ready for a good laugh. I thought this card would be fitting for her. The stamp that I used for the image is by House Mouse, their Happy Hoppers Line. The sentiment on the front is by A Muse Artstamps and the sentiment inside is by Hambo Stamps. The designer paper is by Creative Imaginations, the card stock is by Stampin' Up and Wausau Papers. Once again, I used my Nestibilities by Spellbinders for the wonderful shapes. The exact ones that I used are Scalloped Octagons Small and Large. The different ribbons that I used are by Stampin' Up and Offray. The punches are by Martha Stewart and Stampin' Up. The half pearl embellishments are by Recollections. I also used my Micron Black Pen to add the hand drawn lines on the Nestibilities cut outs. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...

Bunnies ~ E11, E13, E15, & R20
Plates ~ N1
Shadows ~ N0
Cakes ~ RV02, RV06, Y19, Y21, Y23, E55, & E57

"Relaxing Bubbles"

Well, this card was inspired by our monthly group at The Stamp Shoppe in Schofield, WI. It was my turn to have "The Shoebox"...that is what we call the make and takes! We each take turns having this and we get all the pieces ready for everyone and we demo ... step by step how to make the card! This is the one I choose because it could be such a versatile card...Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, or Just Because! The image stamp is by House Mouse, the sentiment is by A Muse Artstamps, and the image on the envelope is by Stampin' Up. The designer paper is by Cloud 9 Design. The cardstock and ribbon are by Stampin' Up. I used both the Large and Small Standard Circles by Nestabilities by Spellbinders. The Cuttlebug Folder that I used is the bubbles...again, not sure if that is what they call it...that is just what I call it! LOL! The punch is by Martha Stewart. The half pearl embellishments are by Recollections. The hand drawn lines are done with the Micron Purple Pen. The reason I am showing the two cards is because of how I did the different lines. See I shake a bit; so for me to make a straight line; doesn't always happen. This is how I cover up a mistake...remember my favorite quotes..." There is no such thing as a mistake; only new possibilities!" This is one of those cases. The Copic Sketch Marker's that I used are...

Bunny - E11, E13, E15, & R20
Bubbles - B0000
Tub and Shading - N0 & N1

The Atyou Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00 & 18. I just love how they add a little bit of sparkle! As always, thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave me a message including your email or blog address; so I can get back to you! Have a great day!

The designer paper is out of my stash. The cardstock and ribbon is by Stampin' Up. I used a cuttlebug folder on the pink cardstock. I am not sure of the exact name. I will definately need work on finding out all of the ones that I use, so I can share them with you! The Label 8 Nestibilities by Spellbinders is what I used for the shape. Then I hand drew the lines on the shapes with my trusty ole White Gel Pen and Micron Black Pen. The star embellishments are by Recollections, I purchased at Michael's. I am back with more of my creative thoughts! This birthday card was inspired by Marie; one of the ladies in The Stamp Shoppe Club. The reason I chose this image from House Mouse for her is because she's so sweet! I love just sittin' and chatting with her. The inside sentiment stamps are by A Muse Artstamps and Stampin' Up. The cardstock and ribbon is from Stampin' Up also. The designer paper is out of my stash. LOL! For the shape of all the papers; I used the Large Deckled Rectangle from Nestabilities by Spellbinders. The ink for the sponging is from Stampin' Up. To add a bit of bling, I used some self stick gems. I am not sure who these were by; but I did get them at Michael's. Now for the Copic Marker combination that I used...

"Bunny Buffet"

This card was created for one of my online yahoo copic groups; Copic Crafters. This is an RAK (Random Act of Kindness) Card designed for one of my fellow Copic Crafter's. We signed up in January to be apart of this swap; there were 24 total crafters.  Each month two people are drawn to be the recipients. Once you have been the recipient; your name is taken out of the drawning, so that each person has a chance to receive 23 cards in the mail! Something besides a bill; that makes me happy! Anyways, the stamps used in this card are by House Mouse and A Muse Artstamps. The cardstock and ribbon are by Stampin' Up. The designer paper is out of my stash. I am a total paper-aholic, so pardon me when I say "My Stash"! I used the Creative Memories Corner Rounder on all the corners. It is the best corner rounder that I have found so far. The embellishments that I used are Recollections Half Pearls and the flowers are by Iced Got Flowers? from Michaels. The Copic Markers that I used are as follows...

Bunny - N1, N2, N3, C5, & R20

Copic Crafter's Bingo Card

We over at the Copic Crafter's Online Group ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/) are having a game of Copic Bingo. You maybe asking yourself "What is Copic Bingo?" ... Well it is a game that one of the members came up with for fun and for us to show off some of our hard work. How the game is played is each person whom signed up to be apart of it, makes a bingo card and submits a few words related to Copic's the game creator. She then sent out a master list of all the words, we each chose 15 to make up the the playing cards. These were the words that I chose. She then used random.org to mix up the names and paired us up with someone to exchange with (done via mail). Once everyone receives there cards, she will then throw out 3 or 4 words per day. The first person to fill their card completely has "BINGO". The prize, you might be wondering is a Copic Marker, of course! I am very excited to be a part of this game, since it is something so different from just another swap. Don't get me wrong I love swaps, but this is a bit more exciting since it is new to me! Anyways, On my card I used a House Mouse Stamp for my image. My ink of choice is Momento black. The cardstock is by Stampin' Up and the desinger paper is by Karen Foster. I used some new toys such as the Label 8 Nestabilities by Spellbinders and the Little Hearts Embossing Cuttlebug Folder by Provocraft. The ribbon is by Celebrate it Holiday Collection that I picked up at Michael's on clearance after Christmas. The embellishment's are from my stash! I am always on the look-out for cool little things...so I never know where they are from or by whom! I used my Copic Markers, Spica Glitter Pens, Black Micron Pen, and old faithful... my White Gel Pen. The copic markers that I used are ... Mice - E31, E33, E35, E42, & R20 ~ Roses - R29, R35, R43, YG93, YG95, & YG97. The Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 14, 17, 19, & 21.For the inside I built my playing card part on the computer using a table in Microsoft Word. I hope you have enjoyed our little twist on BINGO! Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Valentine's Day Candy Box

This is my project that I did for my local stamp club at The Stamp Shoppe in Schofield WI(http://www.thestampshoppe.com/) for January. This is the post that I was keeping quiet until I got to show everyone at the club. Heidi (one of the owners) gave us this photo box in December which was all black to decorate how ever we wanted. I put a piece of acetate transparency where the cutout was and covered it in two different designer papers by The Paper Studio. Then I stamped my images with Momento black ink and colored them with Copic Markers, Spica Glitter Pens, and did some extra detail lines around images with my black Micron Pen. The stamp of the mouse with heart balloons is by Great Impressions, the bunny stamp is by House Mouse, their Happy Hoppers Line, and the sentiment at the top is by Stampin' Up. The mulberry paper that is under the colored images is by Stampin' Up. I actually raised the stamped images on the front and the back with dimensionals. As for the eyelets, they came from my stash, so I have no idea where I got them at! LOL, gotta love the stash! The copic markers that I used are...Mouse - C1, C3, & RV00 ~ Balloons - C0, RV14, Y08, V04, YG05, & R29 ~ Bunny - C0, C1, C3, & RV00 ~ Stuffed Bunny Toy - E35, E53, E55, & RV00 - Hearts - R29 ~ Shadow Area on both images - C1 & C5. The only Spica Glitter Pen I used in the different area's is Clear 00. My plan for this box is for Michael to have on his desk at work; first I have to fill it with Hershey's Chocolate Kisses! I really enjoyed decorating this box, hope that it gives you some idea's! Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
