Good Morning Everyone! I wanted to ask for your help once again, for all of the people affected by the flood in Queensland, Australia. My online friend Annette has made me aware of a "Memory Gift" blog, set up for all crafters to help out by sending items of their specific craft to.
If you are a SCRAPBOOKER, a scrapbook page that would be appropriate to go into a memory album for a family, so all they need to do is add photo's. Hopefully they will have friends and family that can supply them with photo's as no doubt they will all be lost too.
If you are a CARD MAKER, a card or two that could be passed on to let them know of your support and well wishes.
If you are a PAPER PROJECT TYPE CRAFTER, a small gift that could also be passed on.
If you happen to be a SEWER OR QUILTER, possibly some hand washers, tea towels, baby clothes, and the list goes on.
If you happen to do any other type of CRAFT... any small gift that you could send would really help these families out.
Many STORES are also participating in this worthy cause by holding raffles and having challenges where the items created are being shipped out to one of the many drop off points. If you are a STORE / DESIGNER, please consider helping out with cause!

I feel for the people who lost everything. We have had lots of flooding here in Kentucky over the last couple of years. Most of the flooding has been in areas that have never flooded before. I always tell everyone to store a copy of their precious pictures online in a couple of different places. You can find this service for free at many sites. It is a real comfort to know that your pictures are safe. After a tragedy, you just want to look back at where you were and what you once again will have. It gives hope.
