"Easter Surprise"

Good Morning Everyone! It has been a while since I shared something, sorry about that! Life has been getting in the way of creating! I know, it happens to all of us! Annoying, isn't it? LOL! Today I am going to share with you the cards that I created for my "Basic Prismacolor Colored Pencil Class I" at Let's Create, the local stamp shop here in town! What this class is intended for is to give the background of how to use these colored pencils and the tools/supplies that are needed to color using my technique. I Do NOT use Gamsol, Blending Pencils, or Markers. Just straight up colored pencils and my favorite sealing products that make the colors pop off the page! If you are interested in learning more about the class, feel free to email me or you can contact Franki at Let's Create by email or phone! Email - letscreate@solarus.net or Phone - 1-715-424-1343.

"Don't Ask Reindeer"

Good Evening Everyone! I hope that y'all had a wonderful Christmas! Michael and I did; we relaxed and just spent time with each other! No running, a little cleaning, some cooking, and as little STRESS as possible!!! I think it was one of the most relaxing Christmas's we have ever had! But it is over... now we are working our way to the New Year! I am trying to come up with a list of things that I would like to accomplish in 2012. Most people do a resolution for the New Year and then within the first month, give up on it or forget about it. For the past 2 years I have done a goal list instead, which I have found to come in really handy. I must say that I do pretty well with the items on my list, so here's to hoping I have success again this upcoming year!

Now you will probably want to get a beverage or take a potty break before starting my blog post as it is going to be a bit long. My dear friend Carol, asked me early this year (January or February) to make her some Christmas cards with this cutie! I did what most everyone does... put it off because of not feeling in the Christmas mood, this or that came up, and before I knew it, the middle of November was upon us... and I hadn't started on them yet!!! Does that sound familiar to anyone? All together she wanted 15 of these cards... that doesn't sound like a lot, right? Well I forgot just how many layers were on these babies!!!  Well... in the end it worked out perfectly (Whew!?!). I got them ALL done, a few bumps in the road; but got 'em done!!! And there is one more that she wanted; but that is for another post!!! LOL!!! So here we go...

"Spoiled Kitty"

This is one of my favorite images and sentiments from Whipper Snapper Designs. I had so much fun making these cards for my monthly group club meeting at The Stamp Shoppe. For the designer paper, it was out of my scrap tub! The card stock, the image stamp on the envelope, and the ink for the Sponging Technique were all  from Stampin' Up. Of course, I used the Deckled Rectangles Small Nestibilities by Spellbinders for the awesome shapes. For the large circle, I pulled out my old set of shapes and cutters from Creative Memories. I have not used them in a long time! LOL! The ribbon and embellishments were out of my stash. On the kitties nose and the flower pot I used my trusty ole white gel pen. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...

Kitty ~ E95, E97, E99, & W7
Flower ~ G21, G24, B41, B45, R20, & R22
Pot ~ R59 & Colorless Blender
Dirt ~ E55 & E57

The Colorless Blender was to pull some color out and add texture to the pot. The Atyou Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00 (clear), 19 (sand), and 20 (chocolate). As always, thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or comments; please feel free to leave me a message and a way to contact you (email or blog address)! Happy Creating! Sara

"Haagen-Daz Birthday Bear"

As you can see I had so much fun making these cards! The template for them, I got from my friend Bob Lieby. This birthday card was inspired by one of my fellow stamp club friends at The Stamp Shoppe, Tammy. She is new to our group and is alot of fun, not to mention she loves her sweets! Anyways, the image stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs, the sentiment on the card is a two part stamp set by Hambo Stamps, and the images on the envelopes are by Stampin' Up. The designer paper on the first two cards is by Imaginisce. On the last card I did not use any designer paper. I just stamped a background stamp by Stampin' Up which I also used on the envelope. The card stock is by Stampin' Up. The ribbon on the first two cards is by Holiday Inspirations that I purchased at Jo-Ann Fabrics. The ribbon on the last card is by Heidi Grace. I used the Nestibilities by Spellbinders, Petite Oval Large on all of the cards. The flowers are by Iced Got Flowers, purchased from Michael's.

The embellishment half pearls and rhinestones are from Recollections and Darice Finishing Accents that I picked up at Michael's also. The Copic Sketch Markers that I used are...

Bear ~ Y32, Y35, Y38, YR14, E97, W3, & W5
Ice Cream & Cone ~ R00, R29, RV02, RV06, G000, G12, G24, E11, E13, E15, E17, E18, & E53
Shadow ~ N0 & N1

Since of course, I MUST have some sparkly bling... the Atyou Spica Glitter Pens that I used are 00, 01, & 09.
As always thanks for taking the time to stop by and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them for me and a way for me to get in contact with you (email or blog address)! Happy Creating! Sara

Here is another birthday card made for my monthly stamp club at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/) in Schofield, WI. This card was created for Heidi; the owner, since she loves sweets! This stamp is made by Whipper Snapper Designs Inc. The stamps that were used for the inside sentiment are by A Muse Artstamps and Stampin' Up. The Designer Paper is by DCWV (Die Cut With a View) and the cardstock is by Stampin' Up. The ribbon is out of my stash; I have no clue who it is by! LOL! I used the dot Cuttlebug Folder on the front. The inside sentiment was cut out using Labels Five Nestabilities by Spellbinders. I used my trusty ole white gel pen and Micron purple pen to do the handrawn detailing on the sentiment. On the nose I used Cotton Candy Stickles by Ranger. The Copic Markers that I used are C1, C3, RV13, RV25, RV93, BV1, R20, R29, E11, E13, D15, E27, & E42. The Atyou Spica Pens that I use are 02, 03, 12, 13, 16, 19, & 20. "Oops A Daisy"

This card that I created was for a challenge sketch with my local stamp club at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/). Our club meets once a month, we share our creations and idea's. The sketch that was to used for this card was an older Mojo Monday; Week 122. The image stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs, the sentiment on the front is by Simply Stamped, and the inside sentiment is by Inky Antics. The cardstock and ribbon are by Stampin'up; also the designer paper is by K & Company. The image and sentiments were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the sponging on the front sentiment is Stampin' Up Ink. I used my trustly ole Nestibilities by Spellbinders; Petite Oval Small, Petite Scalloped Oval Small, Classic Rectangle Large, & Scalloped Rectangle Large. The Copic Marker's that I used are E01, E13,E15, E17, E31, B21, B60, Y32, Y38, YG25, & YG63. My card wouldn't be complete without my Spica Glitter Pens...00, 04, 16, & 17. "Here's The Latest Dirt" RAK

One last post for today; and I am caught up! But I am in the middle of a few other ones, so more to come in the future!! This card is enough to melt your heart, don't you think? This is another card I designed for my online Copic Crafter Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/).  The image is by Whipper Snapper Designs. The sentiments are by Whipper Snapper and A Muse. The image is stamped in Memento Black Ink, the edging on the designer paper is done with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink, and the sponging is done with Stampin' Up Ink. The cardstock is by Stampin' Up and the designer paper is by NRN Designs. The Nestabilities by Spellbinders that I used are the Small & Large Deckled Rectangles. I think with the torn paper and jagged edges, kind of made this look like a grungy card...perfect for the sentiment! The Copic Markers that I used are E11, E13, E15, E42, E57, B23, R29, & W7. The Spica Glitter Pens are 10, 18, 19, 20, & 21. I used Crystal Effects with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter in it for the bone! They are both by Stampin' Up. The ribbon and embellishments are from my stash! I just love all those little things that I find...and later find all these cool uses for them! I am always on the lookout for little things like these; since you just never know when you will need them! Remember ...Creative...ADDICTIONS...by Sara! LOL! Anyways, thanks for stopping by and feel free to contact me with questions or suggestions!

"Lean On Me" Sunshine RAK & "Happy Hello"

Wow what a whirlwind week...lots of creating last week; which you will see as I catch up on my posts! LOL! This card originally was to be a Sunshine RAK for my online Copic Crafters Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CopicCrafters/) ...and then also became a Happy Hello Card to put into my on hand stash! I just love this image by Whipper Snapper Designs. The sentiment stamp for the "Best Wishes"...I have no idea whom it is by, since it doesn't have the company name on it. The other sentiment stamp "Happy Hellos" is from Stampin' Up. I as always stamped my image with Memento Black Ink. The cardstock is by Stampin' Up. The designer paper is out of my stash. The punch that I used on the bottom of the front flap is by Martha Stewart. I used another new toy, The Scor Pal to do the faux stitching around the outside edge of the designer paper. The Nestabilities by Spellbinders that I used here are the Petite Oval Large and Petite Scalloped Oval Large, in order to do the layering. I love my Nesties for this! It's easy and looks so elegant. The Copic Markers that I used here are C1, C3, C5, E11, E13, E15, RV00, RV02, YR20, G12, & R24. Of course for some bling, I need my Spica Glitter Pens. The Spica's are 00, 10, 12, 14, 17, & 20. For the hand drawn detailing around the stamped image I used my Micron Black Pen. The only embellishment that I used on this card is Rhinstone Half Pearls. Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to contact me!

~ I'll Take Romance ~

Isn't he just the cutest thing? I fell head over heals for him! This stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs and so is the sentiment. I found these over at The Stamp Shoppe (http://www.thestampshoppe.com/). The cardstock that I used is by Stampin' Up and Wausau Papers (Metallic Color Series). The designer paper is by Reminisce. I used the Label 4 Nestabilities by Spellbinders, Little Heart Cuttlebug Folder, and punch by Martha Stewart. The ribbon and embellishments are out of my stash. ( Yes I have a large stash!) LOL! The Copic Markers that I used for this cute little guy are E31, E33, E35, N3, N6, R29, YG05, YG07, & RV10. The Spica Glitter Pens are 00, 17, & 21. For the hand drawn details on the sentiment area, I used the Micron Black and Red Pens. I think this card could be used either for Valentine's Day or for An Anniversary! What do you think? This is my last post for today, as I need to get back to creating...have more challenges and swaps to work on. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Hey Cupcake...Birthday Card

I designed this card from an old Mojo Monday Sketch (http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/). It is serving double duty, since Stampin' Royalty (http://stampinroyalty.blogspot.com/) is a new blog and this is there first challenge. The only rule they had is simple, create a card, scrapbook layout or 3D project using a birthday theme as your inspiration. This adorable stamp is by Whipper Snapper Designs. The cardstock is by Stampin' Up and the designer paper is by Imaginisce. I used Copic Markers, Spica Glitter Pens, Micron Purple and Black Pens, and my trusty old while gel pen. The copic numbers as follows...Mouse - N1,N2,N3, & R20 ~ Presents and Confetti - RV00, RV17, BG000, BG05, BV02, YG25, & YR65. The spica numbers are 02, 06, 10, 13, 14, 15, & 18. If you have a chance pop on over to either of these blogs to see more wonderful sketches and design ideas. Hope you all have a wonderful week! Happy Creating!

Don't Ask! Christmas Card

This is my very first post, a new year, a new idea! My local stamp shoppe group meets once a month. Each month we have a challenge sketch to follow and goodies that the owner gives us to use as another challenge. Since the holidays are so busy, she left it up to us to find our own sketch challenge. Well this is mine. I am also a part of an online group that has challenges once a month. This is the card that I made from their sketch! As far as the goodies that were given to me, that project is completed also, but I am waiting a little longer to post it. Lets see what all I used....Stampin' Up Cardstock, Copic Markers, and Designer paper from my stash. I have a bit of a paper addiction, so I don't always know where it is from! Wow...That wasn't that hard to do! I think this blog is going to turn out to be my second addiction...papercrafting will always be my first!
