"Blueberry Preserves"

Good Afternoon Everyone! I hope that you are getting ready for the weekend! For me it isn't coming quick enough, Michael and I have lots to do this weekend and I want to get going on these projects! Then have one relaxing night, I think it will be a movie night!
Today I have a creation to share with you that I have done for Let's Create, the local stamp shop. I have been  doing some design work for Franki, the owner. At her request, this is my first ever Tilda creation. I have used the mini Tilda and Honey Jar minus the little bee's as I could NOT cut them out, they were just too small! LOL! Franki doesn't have a blog/site as of yet. But it will be coming so that you can see all that she has going on. So if you are in the Wisconsin Rapids area, stop on in and check out her store! If you would like the address or phone number, feel free to give me a shout! Okay onto the materials...

"Don't Ask Reindeer"

Good Evening Everyone! I hope that y'all had a wonderful Christmas! Michael and I did; we relaxed and just spent time with each other! No running, a little cleaning, some cooking, and as little STRESS as possible!!! I think it was one of the most relaxing Christmas's we have ever had! But it is over... now we are working our way to the New Year! I am trying to come up with a list of things that I would like to accomplish in 2012. Most people do a resolution for the New Year and then within the first month, give up on it or forget about it. For the past 2 years I have done a goal list instead, which I have found to come in really handy. I must say that I do pretty well with the items on my list, so here's to hoping I have success again this upcoming year!

Now you will probably want to get a beverage or take a potty break before starting my blog post as it is going to be a bit long. My dear friend Carol, asked me early this year (January or February) to make her some Christmas cards with this cutie! I did what most everyone does... put it off because of not feeling in the Christmas mood, this or that came up, and before I knew it, the middle of November was upon us... and I hadn't started on them yet!!! Does that sound familiar to anyone? All together she wanted 15 of these cards... that doesn't sound like a lot, right? Well I forgot just how many layers were on these babies!!!  Well... in the end it worked out perfectly (Whew!?!). I got them ALL done, a few bumps in the road; but got 'em done!!! And there is one more that she wanted; but that is for another post!!! LOL!!! So here we go...

"Winter Wonderland"

Good Afternoon Everyone! Are you all ready for the holidays? I am as ready as I am gonna be! LOL! Things have been so hectic here for me and Michael that we have no decorating done, we did get some baking in (Hee-Hee), and we have decided to just stay home, enjoy each others company for the holidays. We always have next year for decorating and stressing figuring out how to get everything done! What do you think, does that sound like an awesome plan or what?

Anyways, today I wanted to share with you the NEW challenge at Paper Creations Ink! The theme is "Something Old / Something New". Since this is our LAST challenge for 2011, we thought it should be an easy one! It is all in how you interpreted it... you could go traditional and create an Anniversary or Wedding Project, or Look at it as a reflection of the passing year, and a fresh beginning to set new goals for the upcoming year, or maybe even... drag out those old tools, notes of old techniques and then incorporate them into a new project! As we said... so many possibilities! Paper Creations Ink is being sponsored by Floppy Latte Designs, Jessica Owner/Artist is so graciously giving a $10.00 gift certificate to the lucky winner that Mr. Random decides on!
