"Invitation To A Romantic Evening"

This will be my last post for the day today! I just can't get enough of my blog! LOL! This beautiful image is from Victoria Case's Personal Line. I accidentally stumbled across her site one day when I was blog searching and feel in love with some of her images. She has some lines dedicated to specific stores and then she has created a personal line. This creation will be entered into two different challenges.
The first one is Priscilla Styles Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #88. She has two wonderful sketches again this week! I once again chose the Fancy Sketch (see below). The deadline for this challenge is tonight at 7pm CST! Yikes... I better get moving so I am sure to make the deadline! LOL!

The second challenge that I am entering into is at Color Me Creative Copic Challenge Group. In order to enter this challenge, you MUST be a member! Becoming a member is easy, just click the link that I have provided and answer the prompts to join. This group is more about learning and practicing your Coptic techniques. We have a lot of fun while we are learning though! The theme of this challenge is RED and/or PINK. This challenge runs until February 4, 2011... so you have plenty of time to join up and create a project! So come on over and have some fun learning! Let me know what you think of my creation... Did I follow the sketch? Did I get my reds blended? I would love to hear from you!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! I sure did, actually for me it started on Friday morning! About a month ago I applied for a Design Team position with The Stamping Boutique. Well lets just say there were some issue's with email. LOL! But, Friday I was accepted onto their Design Team! WoooooHooooo! I am so excited! If you are not familiar with The Stamping Boutique stop by and take a look, I am POSITIVE you will find some images that you just have to have! Tracey (the owner) has been creating gorgeous digital stamps for some time now. Recently she has started to carry rubber mounted stamps. Her images are so adorable! Not to mention... very Copic friendly! So all of Copic Lovers out there, you NEED to take a look at her store! Over the weekend, I created my first Design Team Project, which you will be able to see later on today! I will have it posted for you! Please share in my excitement, this is my FIRST DESIGN TEAM ever! A year ago, if you would have told me that I would be applying... let alone becoming a part of the team, I would have laughed at you and told you "That's Crazy"! But here I am today telling you this!
There are a few people that I need to THANK for helping me prepare for this big leap of faith! My Fiance, Michael... "Thank you for having the patience of STEEL, listening to me grumble when learning more about the computer and helping me find all the materials and goodies I needed to keep on learning more about Copic Markers! Second & Third... My DEAR friend's Aletha and Collette, without your (sometimes not so subtle) nudging and constant encouragement ... I would NOT be here! And of course... Tracey and Her Team for allowing me the opportunity to design and willingness to help teach me the ropes! I love you all!!! Okay that got more sappy than I wanted it to! LOL! Sorry everyone!

As always thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave me a message with a way to contact you (email or blog address)!

"Rising Waters Flood Appeal For Crafters"

Good Morning Everyone! I wanted to ask for your help once again, for all of the people affected by the flood in Queensland, Australia. My online friend Annette has made me aware of a "Memory Gift" blog, set up for all crafters to help out by sending items of their specific craft to.

If you are a SCRAPBOOKER, a scrapbook page that would be appropriate to go into a memory album for a family, so all they need to do is add photo's. Hopefully they will have friends and family that can supply them with photo's as no doubt they will all be lost too.

If you are a CARD MAKER, a card or two that could be passed on to let them know of your support and well wishes.

If you are a PAPER PROJECT TYPE CRAFTER, a small gift that could also be passed on.

If you happen to be a SEWER OR QUILTER, possibly some hand washers, tea towels, baby clothes, and the list goes on.

If you happen to do any other type of CRAFT... any small gift that you could send would really help these families out.

Many STORES are also participating in this worthy cause by holding raffles and having challenges where the items created are being shipped out to one of the many drop off points. If you are a STORE / DESIGNER, please consider helping out with cause!

As these people have lost everything and any small gift would be muchly appreciated, and they would know just how much we ALL care! For more details and an updated list of sending points, they can be found at Rising Waters Queensland. If you have any questions you can contact Sharryn by email.

I want to thank you for taking the time to read this email and helping out in any way that you can, either by sending a specific gift or by spreading the word here in the states! Tragedy's come in many forms all around the world, to me it is wonderful to be apart of the crafting world, as we can ban together and help to make a difference in one way or another!

As always thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions or comments PLEASE feel free to leave me a message with a way to contact you (email or blog address)!

"A Scoop Of Love For My Sweet"

Good Evening Everyone! I am very happy to report that I have ALL of my Domestic Goddess Chores done for the upcoming week! Yay! Now more time for the important stuff, Coloring and Creating! LOL!
I must admit, I finished this card the other day, but it needed some time to dry! If you know me, you know that I am not the most graceful person in the world! LOL! So I make sure I give things plenty of time to dry before I start touching and moving them around!
This creation is for two different challenges and a tip on a SALE that is going on! So get ready... I am going to be long winded! LOL!
The first challenge is for Priscilla Style's Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #86. I have included a picture of the sketch that I used. She always has two sketches every week... one being Very Fancy and the other is Clean and Simple (CAS)! I love that you can follow either sketch or create something that is in between both of them! I usually try to do the fancy one, as that is where I personally need the most help (thinking outside my normal style)! You still have plenty of time to work with one of her sketches and submit your creation! The deadline date and time is Monday, January 17, 2011 at 7pm CST! If you have time, come join in the fun!
The second challenge that I will be entering is Copic Creations #42. The theme of this challenge is "Anything New". On this creation... the image (only a week old), the wonderful heart charms (only a little over a week old), and the swirl rhinestones (two weeks old)... so to me they are all NEW Goodies! For this challenge you still have plenty of time to submit your creation! The deadline date and time is Monday, January 31, 2011 at 12pm CST! If you have time come on over and join in on the fun!
Now for the tid bit on a wonderful SALE... The Stamping Boutique is having a 35% Off Sale on all digi's! Isn't that exciting? The image that I have used in this creation is one from Tracey's (owner of The Stamping Boutique) NEW Valentine's Day Line! I just love what I can do with her images! I recently purchased several images. I have them printed and ready to be used! I can't wait to see what I come up with! So be on the  look out for more of her images in next couple of weeks! I am unsure of how long the sale will last, so don't miss out... Check out her store soon!

"Update On Braydin Resch"

Hello Everyone! I have a wonderful update on Braydin Resch! He was the boy who fell out of his tree stand and got severely hurt. He has spent several months in the hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His progress is coming along much better than they had anticipated. He still needs to go through physical therapy on a daily basis, but the doctors do not feel the need for him to remain in Milwaukee.

He is quite the determined young man and has the will to walk again so badly. The doctors feel he can get treatment closer to home, so they are going to release him from the hospital. His family is frantically trying to figure out how to make there home wheelchair accessible and are making many (more) changes to their lifestyle.

Braydin would love to continue to receive cards!
Please send them to:

Braydin Resch
W18917 Cty ZZ
Birnamwood, WI  54414

Thank you so very much for thinking of him and your continued prayers. This is going to be the most difficult time for him because though out the holidays, everyone was so concerned and now that he is home, people will think he is okay and all is good. That is certainly not the case. He has a long, long road ahead of him. He will continue to go for therapy for the next year. His bedroom is located downstairs in his home and it will be a long time before he will see his room or sleep in his own bed.

He has come a long way in a short amount of time, but the worst is yet to come. This is where he is going to need constant support and encouragement! Just knowing people are in his corner and haven't given up on him will help keep him determined!

Okay... Here is where I ask once again! Can we show our support and concern by sharing some of our wonderful cards with a young man who really needs to hear from us? I hope that everyone can help out with this! I know I will be sending out a card or two to him as time goes by! I will do my best to keep everyone updated on his progress!! Thanks for taking the time to read this post and if you can help out that would be wonderful! Thanks again for your support!

Can you help Katie and her family with either a donation or by spreading the word?

Katie Emmerson Renz married to Kevin with 3 beautiful boys the twins Nate & Will aged 5 and Hunter aged 10 had some news just before Christmas that has rocked their world as they know it. Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.

Several artists and various companies have come together to help by donating digital stamps & sets to whom ever gives a donation of £15 (Which converts to $23.93 USD).
